Welcome to my teaching portfolio. Here, I showcase the three Information Technology courses I teach, each designed to build practical skills and prepare students for real-world technology challenges. Below you will also find examples of student work - innovative game projects that demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, and technical proficiency.
Three progressive courses designed to take students from fundamentals to advanced applications
Foundational Level
This course is an introductory computer science course that empowers students to create authentic artifacts and engage with computer science as a medium for creativity, communication, problem solving, and fun. Students learn computer science principles, Python, 3D Game Design with Godot, 3D Modeling with Fusion 360 and basic cybersecurity.
Intermediate Level
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of computer hardware and software. Topics covered are mobile devices, Linux, macOS, virtualization, and cloud computing as well as expanded information about Microsoft Windows operating systems, security, networking, troubleshooting, and the responsibilities of an IT professional. Students learn Python programming and prepare for the Part 107 UAS Exam.
Advanced Level
An advanced course focusing on specialized IT topics and project-based learning. Students work on complex projects, explore cybersecurity basics, database concepts, and prepare for industry certifications. Capstone projects demonstrate comprehensive skill development.
